A few years ago, it was popular on social media to post #blessed. People would tag their posts in this way while staring out from a mountain or in a picture with friends. Imagine God posting that about you, imprinting blessedness and belovedness on each and every human being. In the sacrament of baptism, we recall this primary identity that gets covered by sin and guilt and shame. Before there was original sin, there was original blessing, a blessing given to us by God.

This Sunday, we celebrate three baptisms. Come, be washed in the waters of God's grace!

Sunday School takes place at 10:45am. Children should join their families in the sanctuary at 10:30; stay through Children’s Time before heading down to classes.
