IPC is joining forces with Grassroots Grocery for another “Produce Party” on Saturday, September 12th, and we need volunteers to help make it a success! 

We will meet in the Bronx at 9am, where we will help sort and pack fresh produce rescued from the Hunts Point market, and then make a delivery to a community in need. If you're able to join a delivery route, you'll see the full circle of the work and the direct impact it has. You'll be done before noon! Whether you come on your own, with friends from church, or with your family, a Grassroots Grocery “Produce Party” offers a chance to work alongside others from all walks of life while helping get fresh food to families experiencing food insecurity.
