"One cannot serve both God and mammon." The words of Jesus Christ cut deep in our decadent society. Our closets overflow with clothes we never wear. We purchase items only to use them once before we discard them. We hustle, hustle, hustle to stay ahead and make more. About 2000 years ago, Paul charged his young protege Timothy with a different pursuit: godliness combined with contentment. What would that even look like today? In the midst of immense wealth and income inequality, how do we walk on the path that leads to godliness and contentment?

Sunday School takes place at 10:45am. Children should join their families in the sanctuary at 10:30; stay through Children’s Time before heading down to classes.
