"Zacchaeus was a wee little man and a wee little man was he..."
How does a tax collector become the paragon of God's kingdom? How does the unjust tax collector turn into the just and excessively generous man? How does Zacchaeus become a host for Jesus?
Luke's gospel narrows the focus—Jesus changes lives and changes worlds, perturbing the status quo and inverting the way things are into the way things ought to be. This week in worship, we revisit the classic Sunday school story of Zacchaeus the tax collector after which we will gather at the table of Jesus to be fed with grace through the sacrament of communion.
Sunday School takes place at 10:45am. Children should join their families in the sanctuary at 10:30; stay through Children’s Time before heading down to classes.
Nursery care available for children 4 and under.
Coffee Hour to follow worship.
